Edna Jones

GEORGETOWN- Edna G. Jones 93 of Georgetown passed away at 11:50pm March 4, 2005 at the Bromenn Health Care Center in Bloomington, Il. She was born March 31, 1911 in Catlin, the daughter of Harvey Brooks and Mary(Felgenhauer)Brooks. Both parents precede her in death. On June 28, 1939, Edna met and married Charles D. Jones in Terre Haute, IN. He preceded her in death in April of 1995. Edna leaves behind one son, Ronald (Karen) Jones of Bloomington, Il, one brother, Glen (Nellie) Brooks of Catlin, two sisters, Evelyn Bonome of Georgetown, Eleanor (Max) Jordan of Gosport, IN, and three grandchildren, Ryan and Justin Jones of Bloomington, and Kevin (Laura)Jones of Normal, Il as well as many neices and nephews. All loved Edna and will miss her dearly. Her brother Wilbur precedes her in death. Edna belonged to the First Church of Christ in Georgetown, and as a home maker, she enjoyed quilting, cooking, and cherishing the times with her family and friends.
