Edna Jean Goodwin 60, of Ridge Farm, passed away at 12:10 am, Saturday March 29, 2014, at her home with her family by her side after a 14 year Battle with Cancer. She was born August 2, 1953 in Cleveland, OH, the daughter of Larry and Betty Oakes Rollins. Edna married John Goodwin June 5, 1971 in Georgetown, he survives. Those who will miss her include: her daughter, Michelle (Dennis) Hendricks of Crawfordsville, IN; her son, Michael (Racheal) Goodwin of Ridge Farm; her grandchildren, Chelsi, Marisa, John, Cassandra, Travis, Kiersten, Aiden, her special Friend, Nancy Strubinger; her siblings, Rosella (Bill) Erickson of Georgetown, Larry JR. (Sandy) Rollins of Perrysville, IN, Joann Grider of Danville & Tim (Ramona) Rollins of Danville; and her four legged friends, Jack and Eddie. Edna had worked for Oakes Collision and Repair and R.G.I.S. Inventory Specialist. She served on the Ridge Farm School Board, Ridge Farm Village Board, as well as, current Treasure of Ridge Farm Fire Protection District. Edna loved spending time with her grandkids, entertaining friends, watching Chicago Bears football and NASCAR. She loved to work in her flower garden as well. A celebration of Ednas life will be at 11:00am, Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Sunsets Houghton Leasure Funeral Home in Georgetown with Linda Rowe officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be 4-8pm, Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be given to Presence Regional Cancer Center.
