Edna I. Mcwethy

Edna Irene McWethy, 90, of Newman passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022. She was born in Homer, IL on December 22, 1931, the daughter of Jessie and Wilma Burley.

She is survived by her daughters, Jeannie Malsberry, Pattie Rosemier, Connie (Matthew) Buffington, 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Roy E. McWethy.

Edna was an avid reader and enjoyed doing puzzles.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 26, 2022, from 10am to 11am at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Champaign, Illinois 710 N Neil St. Champaign, Illinois 61820. A Celebration of her life will immediately follow visitation at 11am. She will be laid to rest at Grandview Cemetery in Champaign.
