Edith Kaye Chambers

Edith Chambers, 77, of Dana went to be with the Lord on October 16, 2024 at the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute. She was born March 17, 1947 in Danville, Illinois to the late David and Betty Mariage.

Edith leaves behind her husband Norman Chambers, her son Aaron Clark, and her daughter Brenda Clark. She had 7 grandchildren Josh McFall, Angelique Jones, Dylan (Bailey) Jones, Ozzy (Brieanna) Jones, Danika (Mason) Spurr, Ronald Berry, Casey (Natalie) Clark, and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Ronald Clark, and one sister.

Edith retired from RR Donnelley in Crawfordsville. She enjoyed gardening, flea marketing, and working in her flower beds. She was a member of Bono Methodist Church and the Eastern Star.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 10 am – 12 pm CST at Sunset Funeral Home’s Houghton- Leasure Chapel, located at 200 E. West Street in Georgetown, Illinois. A funeral service celebrating Edith’s life will follow the visitation directly after at 12 pm, also at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Stearns Cemetery in Muncie following services.
