Earl Thomas Noble Jr., 83, affectionately known as Tom, passed away on February 13, 2025, at the Danville VA Honors House. Born on August 22, 1941, in Indianapolis, Indiana, he led a life marked by dedication, service, and friendship.
Tom devoted many years to his career as a supervisor at HeatCraft in Danville, Illinois, where he was well-respected for his work ethic and leadership. He continued to serve in his role until his retirement, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and respect among colleagues.
His commitment to service extended beyond his professional life. Tom honorably served in the United States Army, demonstrating his dedication to his country. This experience not only shaped him as a person but also instilled in him values that he carried throughout his life.
Tom is survived by his very special friend, Vicky LaBreck, and his beloved children, Robin (Gary) Cheesman and Thomas (Shawna) Noble, and five grandchildren. His family and friends will remember him for his warmth, kindness, and the profound impact he had on their lives.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Billy Noble. The memories shared among those he leaves behind will forever serve as a testament to the life he lived and the love he gave.
A visitation to celebrate Tom’s life will be held on Wednesday February 19, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center's Westville-Urbas Chapel 414 S. State St. Westville, Illinois, 61883. In accordance with Tom's wishes, cremation will follow and burial at the Danville National Cemetery at a later date with military honors will be arranged.
