Danville - Earl Dominic Gaudio, 94, of Danville, IL passed away peacefully Friday May 13, 2016. He was Charles and Lena Gaudio's youngest of four sons. He and Bruna were married in 1943 while on furlough with the Army. They have a daughter, Earlynn and a son, Dennis. The family moved to Danville in 1956 where Earl had been offered to be the Budweiser Distributor, known as "Earl Gaudio and Son". The Gaudio family name has been affiliated with Anheuser-Bush since 1904 and 4 generations. Earl retired after the passing of Bruna and handed his beloved business to his son Dennis. However, he continued to visit the business every day without fail. In 1997 he was remarried to Helen Ringstrom who survives him, increasing his family by 4 step children, 4 step grandchildren, 1 step great grandchild. Earl's daughter, Earlynn has 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, while Dennis has contributed 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and one more on the way. Big family dinners were one of Earl's favorite things, right along with playing golf, singing loudly, telling tall tales and laughing a lot. He was especially proud of his "Brew Crew" employees and cared about all of them and their families very dearly. Earl was loyal to his friends, dedicated to his business and absolutely adored his family. Those who knew him will miss him - those who didn't have missed out. Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 17, 2016 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, IL. There will be no public funeral services. Memorials may be made in Earl's memory to Schlarman Academy. Please join Earl's family in sharing photos and memories on his tribute wall at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com
