Duward D Myers

Duward D. Myers, 95, of Thomasboro, IL passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023 at Country Health Care and Rehab, Gifford, IL.  He was born September 4, 1927 in Shubert, NE, a son of Clarence and Edith (Vice) Myers.  He married Yurie Kubo on July 30, 1956 in Japan.  She preceded him in death on February 1, 2017.

He is survived by 2 daughters, JoAnn (Tony) Kinder of Bloomington, IL; Nancy (Michael) Nierenhausen of Rantoul, IL, 2 granddaughters, Mindy (Joey) DeGraeve of Normal, IL; Elizabeth (Anthony DiPietro) Auld of Greenwood, IN, and 3 great-grandchildren, Rowen Starns; Madeline DeGraeve; Hayden DeGraeve.

He was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Ian DeGraeve.

Duward served in the US Air Force for 27 years.  He then worked Civil Service at Chanute Air Force Base, at Central Soya, and various other jobs including a Walmart Greeter.

No services will be held.  Lux Memorial Chapel, Rantoul is assisting the family with arrangements.
