Drusilla Anderson, 91, of Danville, passed away on March 25, 2014 at Heartland Healthcare Center in Champaign, IL. She was born on July 2, 1922 in Danville, the daughter of Herb and Ida (Schultz) Drews. She married Jerome Anderson on December 26, 1948 in Danville, IL. She will be deeply missed by two sons, Keith (Mona) Anderson of Harrisburg, PA, Eric (Martha) Anderson of Danville, IL, one sister, Marilyn Graham of Savoy, IL, six grandchildren, James (Lek) Anderson, Andrea (Shane Curry) Brown, Jessica Anderson, Kim (Jay) Ryan, Dustin Anderson, Melissa (Rodney) Moyers and two great grandchildren, Christopher Anderson and Jack Ryan. Drusilla was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Lynn Brown, one brother, Herb Drews Jr. and one sister, Florence Tabels. She was a graduate of Danville High School and worked for Second National Bank of Danville for 25 years before her retirement. She also worked for the United Fund Charity. Drusilla was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Danville where she was on the Eunice Society and the church choir. She loved traveling, gardening, sewing, quilting, latch hook, cooking, playing cards but mostly fishing and camping with Jerry and the kids. A celebration of Drusillas life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Kent Tibben officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will take place at Danville Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials can be made in Drusillas name to Trinity Lutheran Church or C.A.R.A No Kill animal shelter.
