Dovie Hartman

Cayuga, Ind. -- Dovie Hartman, 103, of Cayuga, Indiana, passed away at 4:35 p.m. CST Sunday, January 6, 2008 at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village in Chrisman, Illinois. She was born July 10, 1904 in Cayuga, Indiana, the daughter of the late Earl and Coy Jones Naylor. She married Virgil Hartman on December 30, 1925. He preceded her in death in 1976. Survivors: one son, Donald(Delores)Hartman of Cayuga, Indiana; five grandchildren, Steve Boswell of Woodstock, Illinois; Donna Lidester of Wingate, Indiana; Donn Hartman, Diana(Ron)Mack and Darrin(Monica)Hartman all of Cayuga, Indiana; six great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one daughter, Helen Boswell; one sister, Mae Hartman and two brothers, Earl and Noble Naylor. Dovie formerly worked at R&S Printing in Danville, Illinois and the Grab It Here Store in Cayuga, Indiana. She was a member of the Georgetown Nazarene Church for over 50 years. Funeral services: 11 a.m. EST Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Andy Spencer; Burial: Georgetown Cemetery in Georgetown, Illinois; Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. EST Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the donors favorite charity.
