Dovie Coy Frazier Dovie Coy Frazier, 90, of Danville, went to be with the Lord at 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at Provena United Samaritan Medical Center in Danville. Dovie was born November 24, 1916, in Georgetown, IL, the daughter of James R. and Della (Onley) Clifton. Dovie is survived by two daughters, Joan Marie (Dan) Knight of Westville, IL, and Carol Elaine (Ron) Galey of Lafayette, IN; three sons, Kenneth Ray (Judy) Ervin of Rock Falls, IL, Larry Joe Ervin of Willowbrook, IL and William Allen (Jannette) Ervin of Murfreesboro, TN; eleven grandchildren, Tim (Mishez) Ervin of Rolling Meadows, IL, Jeff (Barb) Ervin of Mundelein, IL, Christine (Bill) Wright of Burlington, IA, Janet (Mark) Knight and Teresa (Jeff) Chaney both of Westville, IL, David (Erin) Ervin of Ft. Wayne, IN, Michael (Tammy) Ervin of Lisle, IL, Billy Ervin of Murfreesboro, TN, Becky (Bobby) Robinson of Rankin, IL, Sara Galey and Austin Galey both of Lafayette, IN and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, and two sisters. Dovie was a resident of Lafayette, IN and had recently moved back to the Danville area. She was a 1935 graduate of Georgetown High School. Dovie graduated from the St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Danville and was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Dovie enjoyed listening to music, gardening, and playing cards. She had many interests and lived life to its fullest. Dovie was a loving, caring and devoted mother and grandparent. She will be greatly missed. A celebration of Dovies life will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, June 11, 2007 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 1949 N. Bowman Avenue in Danville with R. Frank Butler and Donald Patterson officiating. Burial will be at Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2007 at the church.
