Danville, Ill. - Dorseita "Dori" Morrison, 65, of Danville and formerly of Cayuga, Indiana, passed away at 10:18 a.m. CST Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana, Illinois. She was born July 15, 1946 in Kingman, Indiana, the daughter of Reilla Swank Kiger and Clarence Tryon. She married Delbert E. Morrison on September 1, 1979 in Georgetown, Illinois. He survives. Other survivors include her daughter, Taylor M. Johnson of Danville, Illinois; mother and stepfather, Reilla June(Carl)Kiger of Clinton, Indiana; six step children, Ed(Sally)Morrison of Westville, Illinois; Debbie(Gary)Hillary and Kary(Irene)Morrison both of Sidell, Illinois; Cathy Valeria of Danville, Illinois; Jeff(Rachel)Morrison of the Philippines and Josh(Katie)Trussel of Westville, Illinois; three sisters, Joyce Ogle of Perrysville, Indiana; Beth Ann Tryon of West Lebanon, Indiana and Ruthie Tryon of Clinton, Indiana; two brothers, Arguel(Greta)Kiger of Rileysburg, Indiana and Ted Pearman of Cates, Indiana; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; sister and two brothers. Dori was currently working as a waitress at the Covered Bridge Restaurant in Eugene, Indiana. She was also a former waitress at Green Acres Restaurant south of Cayuga and the former Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Cayuga. Dori was a member of the Cayuga American Legion Auxiliary Unit 263. She enjoyed camping, reading, watching NASCAR and her favorite driver Jeff Gordon; going to Las Vegas and Indiana Beach. Dori especially enjoyed playing poker with her many friends. Funeral services: 11 a.m. (Indiana Time) Saturday, December 31, 2011 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Linda Rowe; Burial: Georgetown Cemetery in Georgetown, Illinois; Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. (Indiana Time) Friday, December 30, 2011 at the funeral home with Auxiliary services at 7 p.m.
