Dorothy 'Louise' Lindsey

Dorothy Louise Lindsey, 72, of Urbana, passed away Sunday, May 1st, 2016 at 2:15 pm. A graveside service at Cartwright Cemetery in Tuscola, IL will be held on Saturday, May 7th at 1:00 pm. Louise was born August 13th, 1943 in Mattoon, IL to parents Albert and Betty (Cook) Hunt. They preceded her in death. Her husband James (Jim) Lindsey, a son, Jeff Gill, infant daughter, Pamela Sue Gill and brother in-law, Junior Porter also preceded her in death. Louise married Jim December 18th, 1976 in Tuscola, IL. Together they celebrated 36 wonderful years of marriage, renewing their vows in 2010 and again in 2012. Surviving children are: Dwayne Gill (Robin), of Urbana, IL, Nancy Liedman (Matt), of Rantoul, IL, Patty Fann (Tony), of Minier, IL, Amanda Lindsey of Champaign, IL and Brenda Sims (James) of Anchorage, AK. Louise is also survived by 10 grandchildren and siblings Mary Porter, Mike Hunt (Loretta), Barb Chism (Elliott), Joe Hunt (Patty), and Mark Hunt (Ilana) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Louise enjoyed manicures, listening to country music, playing cards, and of course, her Pepsi. She was loved deeply by her family and will be truly missed.
