Dorothy Louise Foreman, 87, of Danville formerly of Ridge Farm, passed away at 2:00 a.m. Saturday December 25, 2010 at Bowman Estates. She was born on May 28, 1923 in Danville, IL the daughter of Ed and Cora (Smith) Miles. She married Rev. Ralph Foreman on June 29, 1940 in Covington, IN. He survives. Other survivors include her son, Ralph Lloyd (Barbara) Foreman of Dallas, TX; her daughter, Marsha (Phil) Miller of Hopedale, IL; her five grandchildren, Steven (Tammy) Foreman of Shreveport, LA, Amos David (Celenas) Foreman of Lawton, OK, Mary (Tommy) Hathaway of Greenville, TX, Michelle (Michael) Amaral of Powder Springs, GA, and Natalie (Mick) Galligan of Bloomington, IL; six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and two sisters. Dorothy worked as an LPN at Lakeview for fifteen years and later worked at Pleasant Meadows for twelve years. She was a member of Olivet Church of the Nazarene and K.O.P.S (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly). She enjoyed crocheting, camping, and traveling to the south with her husband. A celebration of Dorothys life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday December 29, 2010 at the Olivet Church of the Nazarene. James Blue will officiate. She will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday December 28, 2010 at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Chapel, A Life Celebration Home.
