Dorotha "Peggy" L. Hollingsworth

Covington, Ind. - Dorotha "Peggy" L. Hollingsworth, 94, of Covington and formerly of Kingman, Indiana, passed away at 6:10 a.m. CDT Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville, Illinois. She was born April 25, 1922 in Kramer, Indiana the daughter of the late Grace (Haga) Hatch and Fred Ingram. In 1940 she first married Elmer Ellsworth Hetrick. He preceded her in death. She later married Stanley Hollingsworth on December 24, 1962 in Kingman, Indiana. He preceded her in death on October 3, 1990. Survivors include her son, Allen (Linda) Hetrick of Veedersburg, Indiana; two step sons, Dale (Judy) Hollingsworth and Harold Hollingsworth; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Burton of Downey, Iowa and one brother, Phil Ingram of Downey, Iowa and several nieces and nephews. Peggy was preceded in death by her two sons, Layton and Donnie Hetrick; three sisters, Edith Clawson; Eunice Williamson and Edna Voorhees, and one brother, Ray Ingram. For 40 years Peggy sold Avon in the surrounding area. She was a member of the Kingman Community Church. Peggy enjoyed playing croquet, gardening, watching humming birds and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
