Doris T. Davis

Covington, Ind. - Doris T. Davis, 82, of Covington, passed away at 7:15 p.m. EDT Saturday, May 31, 2014 at The Waters of Covington. She was born May 20, 1932 in Fountain County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Ross and Maude Hack Davis. Survivors include two sisters, Mary F. Daniels of Montezuma, Indiana and Laura Davis of Covington, Indiana; several nieces and nephews. Doris was preceded in death by four sisters and six brothers. Doris worked at MFG in Danville, Illinois for 46 years, retiring in 1992. She enjoyed playing bingo, mushrooming, gardening, raising flowers and fishing. Funeral services: Noon EDT Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Keith Klossner; Burial: Coal Creek Cemetery south of Covington, Indiana; Visitation: 10 a.m. EDT Wednesday, June 4, 2014 until time of services at the funeral home.
