Doris Sherry Kantout

Doris "Sherry" Kantout, 67, of Westville, passed away at 5:00pm, Monday, August 6, 2018, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. She was born on February 23, 1951, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Robert and Deloris {Shaffer} Henderson. She was united in marriage to Michael "Mick" Kantout on November 23, 1971, in Danville. He survives. She is also survived by: her daughter, Michele (Jason) Ryan; her grandchildren, Alexa Kantout, Makenzie Kantout, Oriana Ryan, Paige Ryan, & Trenton Ryan; her sister Diana Williamson. She was preceded in death by her parents. Sherry worked at Illinois Bell then later at Walmart for 17 years. She adored her three dogs, Peanut, Paco, & Taco, and loved taking them on walks. She especially enjoyed going to ball games and watching her grandkids activities. Sherry enjoyed playing online games with friends to stay in touch. She loved having special dinners with her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to spoil them as much as she could. Sherry will be greatly missed by her soulmate, Mick, and their visits to Forest Glen. A celebration of Sherry's life will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, August 11, 2018, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S. State St., Westville, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be 11:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday prior to her service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Lithuanian National Cemetery, Westville.
