Doris Marie Kochell

Doris Marie Kochell, 81, of Danville, passed away at 11:18 p.m. Sunday, July 15th, 2012 at North Logan Healthcare. Doris was born on June 26th, 1931, in Catlin, Illinois, the daughter of Fred and Ida (Sands) Hansbrough. She married Robert F. Kochell on April 21st, 1947, in Danville. He preceded her in death on February 10th, 1996. She is survived by her five children- Robert (Beverly) Kochell of Eugene, Indiana, Fred Kochell of Danville, Alan (Nickiey) Kochell of Missouri, Sheryl (James) Donnelly of Danville and Ida (Bill) Clements of Danville; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, five sisters and one grandson. Doris worked for District #118 Schools, General Electric, Sun Beam Bakery, Vermilion Manor Nursing Home and Americana Healthcare. Doris loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. She will be sadly missed by all her loved ones. The family would like to say a special thanks to North Logan Healthcare, especially all of the CNA's there who loved her and took great care of her during her time there. A Celebration of the Life of Doris Marie Kochell will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 20th, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, a Life Celebration Home, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Burial will follow the service at Oakridge Cemetery in Catlin. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
