Doris Mae Shroyer

Gifford - Doris Mae Shroyer, 81, passed away on Sunday September 10, 2017 at Country Healthcare and Rehab in Gifford, IL. She was born on May 16, 1936 to William and Aleen (Crowley) Hill in Mahomet, IL. Doris is survived by her daughter Patti Griffith (Kirk); son-in-law Terry Brake; grandchildren Justin (Julie), Nathan (Heather), Nicole (Jason), Christopher (Melissa), Preston (Samantha), Kelsey (Rich), and Miles (Leslie); 27 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and siblings Richard Hill and Mary Huss. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Debbie Lynn Brake; great-granddaughter Kadence; and siblings Martha and Dale. Doris loved spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoors. A celebration of Doris's life will be held at 1pm on Thursday September 14, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home, 710 N. Neil St. Champaign, IL 61820. Visitation will be held prior from 11am-1pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Mahomet, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Doris's family i.e. funeral expenses.
