Doris L. Dinsmore

Doris L. Dinsmore, 94, of Danville, passed away at 1:55 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville. She was born January 23, 1911 in Blount Township, Illinois, the daughter of Fred E. and Gladiola (Wilson) Albert. She married George H. Dinsmore on June 19, 1933 in Danville, Indiana. George preceded her in death on March 10, 1975. Doris is survived by: 2 Daughters: Doris J. Dinsmore of Danville and Donna (Erritt) Booe of Urbana; 3 Grandchildren- Jean (David) Miles of Armstrong, IL, Jill Bensyl of Urbana and Jayne (Jeff) Willard of Potomac, IL; 4 Great-Grandchildren " Jordan Miles, Erin Bensyl, Austin Miles and Rachel Miles;1 Brother- Charles (Alice) Albert of Danville; 3 Sisters- Alice Snider of Danville, Creta Arlington of Marion, IN and Norma Pyle of Houston, TX. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 2 Brothers- Don Albert and Wilbur Huckstadt. She attended Danville High School, and was a member of the Eastern Star. Doris enjoyed bowling, gardening, sewing, cooking and growing roses.
