Doris Johnson

GEORGETOWN- Doris Vione (Scott) Johnson, 92 of Georgetown passed away at 6:35pm on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at the Pleasant Meadows Christian Village in Chrisman, IL. Mrs. Johnson was born on April 29, 1913 in Georgetown, the daughter of Jesse T. and Goldie (Bouton) Scott. Both her parents precede her in death. Doris married James T. Johnson. He also precedes her in death. Doris will be missed by: her daughter; Pamela (Rodney) Mikel of Springfield, IL; her sister; Bernice MacMurtrey of Kokomo, IN; and her two grandchildren, Melissa Norwich of Jacksonville, FL, and Matthew Mikel of El Paso, IL. Doris enjoyed her family very much and she will be missed by all that knew her. A private family gathering for Doris Johnson will be held Friday, December 9, 2005 at the Georgetown Cemetery.
