Doris Ilene Courson

Doris I. Courson, 89, passed away on May 10, 2015 in Goodyear, AZ. She was the daughter of Gladys and James Shaffer. She married Carl O. Courson in 1947 in Danville who preceded her in death in 2008. Also preceding her in death is one son, Lenny Courson. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa D. Ward of Goodyear, AZ, her son, Lonnie D. Courson of Danville, Illinois, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and special friends Betty and Chuck Snyder and Doris Andrews. Family and friends may attend a visitation and viewing on May 18, 2015 from 12:30-1:30 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, IL. A graveside service will be held immediately following at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville, IL. Memorial donations may be made in Doris' name to Arizona Family Hospice, 15551 N.
