Doris E. Musson Doris “Dotie” Musson, 79, of Oakwood passed away at 2:03 AM on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Doris was born December 9, 1933, in Danville, Illinois the daughter of the late Camille and Ruby (Chitwood) Fourez. She married Wilbur Musson on May 30, 1954, at Hebron United Methodist Church “Newtown”. He preceded her in death on October 26, 2005. Survivors include two sons; Steve (Tammy) Musson and Bruce (Stephanie) Musson; two sisters, Vernell Myers and Flora Kay Chacon; Seven Grandchildren, Jessica Musson, Holly (Austin) Reifsteck, Brady, and Skyler Musson, Missy (Lenny) Dowers, Nikki (Justin) Posey, and Mike Stiles; Seven Great Grandchildren, Olivia, Gavyn, Carter, Rylee, Teegan, Kambyr, and Kanon; one son in law Steve Stiles. Doris was preceded in death by one brother Fred Fourez, and a daughter Debbie Stiles. Doris worked as a School Nurse for many years, starting in the early1970s at Oakwood Schools. She was an avid Illini football and basketball fan, she also enjoyed watching NASCAR. Most of all, she was a devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with her family. A celebration of the life of Doris Musson will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, November 8, 2013 at Sunsets Oakwood Chapel 105 E South Main ST., Oakwood. Officiating services will be Pastor Kim Dancy . Burial will be in Newtown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm. on Thursday November 7th at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in Doriss name to Hebron United Methodist Church “Newtown”.
