Doretta E. Bedwell

Cayuga, Ind. - Doretta E. Bedwell, 57, of Cayuga passed away at 5:03 p.m. EST Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at her residence. She was born September 29, 1959 in Clay City, Indiana the daughter of the late Mary Margaret (Moffat) Curry and John Curry. Survivors include her son, Harley Bedwell of Newport, Indiana; one brother, Bill Ellis of Terre Haute, Indiana; half sister, Lisa (William) Bays of Terre Haute, Indiana and half brother, John Curry of Terre Haute, Indiana. Doretta was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, John Curry and two brothers. Doretta attended the Cayuga Presbyterian Church. She was a 1977 graduate of Terre Haute South High School and a 1984 graduate of Indiana State University. Doretta enjoyed Toronto Blue Jays baseball; gardening and macro may. Cremation has been accorded with no services scheduled. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana is assisting the family with arrangements.
