WESTVILLE- Dora A. Revello, 93, of Westville, passed away at 3:20am on Wednesday, November 08, 2006 at the Paris Health Care Center in Paris, IL. Mrs. Revello was born on February 19, 1913, in Ridge Farm, the daughter of Frank and Margaret (Powell) Fortune. On September 22, 1932, Dora married Pete Spike Revello in Covington, IN. He preceded her in death in September 1995. Those that survive Dora include: her son, Ken (Corinna) Revello of Westville; her daughter, Dotsy (John) Fogleman of Danville and Boca Raton, FL; her five grandchildren, Tamie Nagrodski, Stacy (John) OConnell, Tim (Aimee) Revello, Kristin (Michael) Rankin, and Summer Revello; her four great-grandchildren, Ashley Nagrodski, Danielle Nagrodski, Tristan OConnell, and Savannah Rankin; her special friends, Lottie Caruthers, Loretta DeKnuydt, Catherine Snyder, Clara and Paul Howard, Warren Nagrodski, Jim and Margaurite Silvestro, the late John and Eurania Caruthers, the late Tony Pasierb and the late John Fava, as well as her several nieces and nephews. Her parents, her three brothers-Bill, Tyrus, and Oscar Fortune, and her two sisters-Gladys Smith and Nellie Foster, preceded Dora in death. Dora was a Ridge Farm High School graduate and was later employed at the Snowers Sewing Factory of Danville as a seamstress, and later a floor supervisor, retiring in 1967. Mrs. Revello was a member of the United Methodist Church and a Sunday school teacher. She was a Girl Scout leader, and volunteered with the Boy Scouts. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, crocheting, baking, camping, ceramics, painting, and spending time with her family and attending her grandchildrens sporting events. A celebration of Dora Revellos life is scheduled for 10:00am on Friday, November 10, 2006 at Sunset- Urbas Funeral Home located at 414 S. State St. in Westville. Final resting place will be at St. Peter and Pauls Cemetery in Westville. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5-8pm on Thursday, November 9, 2006 at the funeral home. Memorial contribution may be made in Doras name to the Alzheimers Foundation and/or the Humanes Society.
