Donnetta L. Mosier

Donnetta Mosier, 79, of Indianola, passed away at 8:25pm, Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Danville. She was born on July 27, 1938, in Clinton, Indiana, the daughter of Ray and Thelma {Curry} Wallace. Donnetta will be missed by: her daughter, Betty (Rick) Mosier-Johnson of Tilton; her sons, Bob (Lisa Boen) Mosier & Randy Mosier, both of Indianola, and Roger Mosier of Horace; three sisters, Norma of Bloomington, IN, Sharon Vorek of Clinton, IN, & Deeann Bennett of West Baden, IN; her grandchildren, Sarah, Blaise, Clayton, Jena, Jacob, Kyle, Laura, her seven great grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister, a nephew, and one granddaughter. Donnetta was from Centenary, Indiana and graduated from Clinton High School in Indiana in 1956. She was a loving mother and grandmother to her family and a friend to everyone she met. She retired from the US Postal Service after working for 30 years. She will be missed by all who loved her. The family would like everyone to dress casual for services. A celebration of Donnetta's life will be held at 12:30pm, Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E West St, Georgetown with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be held 10:30am to 12:30pm Tuesday prior to her service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery, Indianola.
