Donna K. Orlea, 66, of Danville, passed away at 3:24 am on Monday, July 28, 2014 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. Donna was born on January 7, 1948 the daughter of Carl and Audrey Irene (Hanson) Ganley. Donna will be missed by her daughter, Shari ( Matt)Toth and son, John Slazas, both of Danville; four grandchildren, David and Jason Toth, Justin Slazas and Lauren Winters; one brother, James (Tina Arrasmith) Ganley of Westville and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was employed in the banking industry for 25 years and then went on to work at Presence USMC in Danville as a collector. She retired in 2012 after 14 years of service. Donnas passion in life was her family and attending the sporting events of her grandchildren; she never missed a game. There was a pretty good chance that if you drove by her house shed be out mowing, which was a hobby she thoroughly enjoyed. Donna will be missed by all who loved and knew her, as she was an inspiration to everyone. A celebration of Donnas life will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel in Westville, with Rev. Raymie Gordon officiating. Visitation will be from 3-7 pm on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the funeral home. Donna will be laid to rest in McKendree Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Donnas name to the Westville Recreation League or the Westville Boosters.
