Donna D. Millis

Donna Darlene (Sisk) Millis of Champaign, Il went home to be with her Lord on August 16, 2026. She was born on December 8, 1937, in Penfield, Il, to Henry and Genevra (Sartwell) Sisk. She attended Armstrong High School and married Harold W. Millis on February 1, 1954. Harold survives.

 Donna is also survived by her sister, Lonna Thompson of Fithian; her brother, Troy Sisk of Rantoul; and her children, Charles Millis of Champaign; James (Melissa) Millis of Brandon, MS; Cathy (Bruce) Robinson of Kansas; and Craig Millis of Champaign. She leaves behind nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, and her sweet little dog, Sugar. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter-in-law, Mary Millis, and a special friend, Carole Lindholm. 

Donna and Harold built a loving home for their family in both Mahomet and Champaign, Il. Donna worked for many years selling china at Robeson’s Department Store before retiring as a nurse assistant from Christie Clinic in Champaign. 

Donna and her family were longtime members of Northwest Christian Church in Champaign and later attended Stratford Park Bible Church. 

Donna enjoyed many hobbies, including reading and crocheting, but her favorite was quilting with her friends. She treasured the friendships and time spent creating beautiful quilts together. 

Donna was a devoted, loving, and supportive spouse, a fierce and protective mother, and a kind and generous grandmother. Her family will remember her for the love, strength, and care she gave so generously throughout her life. 

Although she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort and solace in knowing that Donna is now in the loving arms of the One who loves her most.

A memorial service will be held on August 30, 2026, at 2:30 pm at Stratford Park Bible Chapel, 2801 W Kirby Ave., Champaign, IL. Memorials may be made to the Stratford Park Bible Chapel.
