Donna Mcgrew

Donna G. McGrew, 71, a resident at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village in Chrisman, IL, formerly of Danville, passed this Life on Sunday, January 24, 2010, at 8:40 pm. She was born in Danville on April 5, 1938, the daughter of Mr. Norman W. VanCamp and Mrs. Florence J. (Glaspey) Van Camp. On June 23, 1961, Donna married Mr. Dale McGrew I, in Danville. He preceded her in death in 1992. Surviving Donna are two sons, Ray (Felina) McGrew of Fithian, IL, Dale (Donna) McGrew II, of Sarasota, FL, three daughters, Donna May (Henry) Estep of Danville, Debra J. (Bob) Sternberg of Danville, and Bette (Jenny) McGrew of Champaign. Her eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, brother, Larry (Dorothy) VanCamp of Danville, and three sisters, Janet Hastings of Catlin, Dort (A.G.) Dunagan of Danville, and Cheryl (Daryl) Dokey of Danville also survive her. Her parents precede Donna in death. Donna spent her time as a homemaker. She enjoyed dancing, making jewelry, playing cards and dice games, traveling, going to the Casino River Boat and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all that knew her. A Memorial Service Honoring Donnas Life will take place at the Danville VFW Post # 728, located at 8 Pine Street in Danville on Thursday, January 28, 2010 from 4-8pm.
