Donna Marana

Donna L. Marana, 49, of Oakwood, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2007 in her husbands arms at their home. Donna was born May 31, 1957, in Danville, the daughter of Donald W. and Lillian Louise (Williams) Walker. She married Robert M. Marana on May 3, 2002 in Danville. He survives. Donna is survived by her parents Donald (Jody) Walker and L. Louise Williams both of Danville; three sons, Chris Keele of Marion, OH, Christren Marana and Shawn Marana both of Danville; a brother, John Walker of Danville; a sister, Nancy (Mark) Lyman of Tilton and a granddaughter, Kimberly Ann Marana of Clearwater, FL. A sister, Sheri Lynn, preceded her in death. Donna worked as a nursing assistant in the podiatry clinic at the VA Illiana Health Care System. She enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, and spending time with her dog, Samson. She also did interior decorating for others in her spare time. Donna dearly loved people. A celebration of Donnas life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Bruce McQuigg officiating. Burial will be in Danville National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in Donnas name to the American Lung Association.
