Donna L Fox

Donna L. Fox, 71, of Indianola, passed away at 2:03pm, Saturday, April 7, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Indianola on October 1, 1940, the daughter of Robert and Silvia {High} Martin, both deceased. She was united in marriage to Elmer Fox on June 10, 1960, in Georgetown. He will miss her dearly. Others who will miss her include: her children, Jeffrey Fox of Danville, Kenneth (Shelley) Fox of Indianola, & Rebecca (Jeff) Landis of Ridge Farm; her grandchildren, Aimee Brink of Lodi, IN, Brandon Fox of Westville, & Christi (John) Roarks of Cayuga, IN; her five great grandchildren; and her brother, Larry (Charlotte) Martin of Rossville. Her brother, Terry, preceded her in death. Donna was a Certified Nursing Assistant and retired from Colonial Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of the Vermilion Grove Friends Church, a past member of the Indianola Lions Club, and a member of the Paris V.F.W. Woman's Auxiliary. She loved gardening and crafts, but most of all, Donna loved being with her family and grandkids. The family wanted to send a special Thank You" to Provena Hospice for their care of Donna. A celebration of Donna's life will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, with Pastor James Walker and Mervin Fox officiating. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00pm, Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Michael Cemetery, Indianola. Memorial donations may be given in Donna's name to Vermilion Grove Friends Church or Donor's Choice of Charity.
