Donna Kagels

Donna Kagels, 59, of Danville, passed away March 24, 2014 in Sheridan, Arkansas. She was born October 10, 1954, the daughter of Don Kagels and Helen (Hendricks) Wheeler. She is survived by one son, Schuyler (Tracy) Grant of Hoopeston, IL; daughter, Shelly (George) Tigue of Amity, AR. Also survived by her significant other of 16 years, Allen McCool, six grandchildren, Josh (Tosha) Pickett, Matt (Jessika)Pickett, Katie Taylor, Zachary Taylor all of Amity, AR, Ben Hesse, Chloe Grant of Hoopeston, IL; two great-grandchildren, Phoebe Rendon and Chloe Rendon of Amity Arkansas; sisters, Linda (Sue) Staley of Kokomo, IN, Cathy (Gary) Brown of Hoopeston, IL, Christine (Norbert) Schwer of Berrien Springs, MI; Glenda Lomax of Tilton, IL, many nieces and nephews and one lifelong friend, Kathy Prunkard. She was preceded in death by parents, Don Kagels and Helen Wheeler, one son, Steven (Tony) Landon; brother, Ronnie Dowers; sisters, Tonya Dowers Taylor, Julie Dowers, Rita King; and two unborn great-grandchildren. Donna had a great love for her dog, Freckles. She loved spending time with her son, daughter, grandkids and great-grandkids. She was a loving mother and was also loved by many. A celebration of life memorial service for Donna will be held Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center at 2:00 pm and she will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park.
