Donna Judd

Donna Jean Judd, 75, of Danville, passed away Sunday evening, September 24, 2006 at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center. Donna was born August 22, 1931 in Jacksonville, Illinois the daughter of Fred and Mary Winner Robertson. She married Henry E. Gene Judd on October 16, 1954 in East St. Louis, IL. He preceded her in 1984. Donna was head librarian for the former Lakeview Medical Center School of Nursing, co-owner of the marketing and advertising firm DOMAR and Associates, and owner /innkeeper of the Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast in Rossville. She was a member of Altrusa Club, an avid reader and crossword puzzle lover. Surviving are her daughter Jennifer (Joseph Wood) Judd of Wildwood,MO. and her son Michael Judd of South Lyon, MI.; granddaughters Claire Ashley Wood and Audrey Elaine Wood both of Wildwood, Mo; and a niece Betty Landman of Aurora,IL. She was preceded by her husband and parents. Memorial visitation will be held Thursday, September 28, 2006 from 1-3:00pm with a remembrance service at 2:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Danville Library Foundation appreciated.
