Donna J. Pollard

Westville, Ill. - Donna J. Pollard, 79, of Westville and formerly of Dana, Indiana passed away at 11:30 p.m. CST Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

Donna was born May 30, 1938 in Muncie, Illinois the daughter of the late Raymond Leroy and Violet Emma (Farnum) Dolbee.

She married Morris C. Pollard on February 5, 1956 in Danville, Illinois. He preceded her in death on August 19, 1997.

Survivors include two daughters, Cathy (Bruce) Shaw of Kokomo, Indiana and Lori (Kevin) Roberts of Monticello, Illinois; two sons, Jim (Darla) Pollard and David (Ruth) Pollard both of Dana, Indiana; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter on the way; two sisters, Betty Pate of Bismarck, Illinois and Pam (Jack) Freeman of Battle Ground, Indiana, and one brother, Roy (Dorothy) Dolbee of Catlin, Illinois.

Donna was preceded in death by her infant son; one son, Tim Lee Pollard, and one brother, Bill Dolbee.

Donna was a homemaker. She was a member of Central Park Church of Christ in Tilton, Illinois. Donna formerly worked at General Electric in Danville, Illinois, the former Covington Manor Nursing Home as a CNA, Hawthorn Inn as a Dietary Aid, and lastly as a sandwich artist at the Subway in Georgetown, Illinois. She attended Westville High School and enjoyed watching the Food Network, sewing, gardening, shopping, traveling, playing board games, mushrooming, berry picking, camping and watching ice skating. She especially enjoyed visiting with her family.
