Donna J. Juvinall

Newport, Ind. -- Donna Jean Juvinall, 77, of Newport, passed away at 8:10 p.m. EDT Saturday, June 22,2013 at Union Hospital Clinton in Clinton, Indiana. She was born March 29, 1936 in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Clarence and Beulah Hursh Dicken. She married Robert V. Juvinall on January 2, 1954 in Danville, Illinois. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1989. Survivors include three daughters, Debbie Haun of Perrysville, Indiana; Vickie Juvinall of Newport, Indiana and Patty(Dave)Anderson of Covington, Indiana; one son, Robert(Karla)Juvinall III of Danville, Illinois; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren and one great great grandson, one brother, Jerry Dicken of Monroe, Georgia and son-in-law, Russell W. Ellis of Newport, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Ellis on June 1, 2013; grandson, Raymond E. Haun, Jr. and one sister. Donna retired from Pleasant Meadows Christian Village in December of 2001 after eighteen years of service. She attended the Newport Church of God. Donna enjoyed crocheting, working on puzzles; tending her yard and her dog Wally. Funeral services: Noon EDT Thursday, June 27, 2013 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Pastor John Hawkins; Burial: Thomas Cemetery, Newport, Indiana; Visitation: Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. EDT at the funeral home.
