Donna G Linn

Donna G. Linn (Phelps), 83, of Danville was born on February 17, 1935 in Harvey, IL. She was well known for her wit, humor, and good natured heart. On February 23, 2018 Donna peacefully left us to rejoin her husband Roy N Linn Jr, who preceded her in death. Donna loved her two boys Roy "Sonny" Linn III and Patrick K Linn "as big as the sky times a hundred no flapjacks" and was a loving and generous mother in law to both Debbe West-Linn and Drake Taylor. But undoubtedly, her most wonderful joy in life was her granddaughter Haleigh Morrison. She loved Haleigh and her husband Matthew almost as much as her great grandson Theo Blaine. She also leaves behind granddaughters Courtney (Greg) Osborne and Megan (Ashley) Bolen, and their children Ava and Rowan King, and Louis Bolen, whom she thought the world of. Donna also leaves behind a cherished brother Kim Phelps and a dear sister Rebecca (Mark) Forsyth, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews who will all miss her terribly. Donna was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Adahbell Phelps, and her sisters Connie McGowen and Sondra Swisher. Anyone who knew Donna, knew that they had a friend for life. She was truly one of a kind. Donna Linn's visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center at 3940 N Vermilion St. in Danville, IL on Tuesday February 27, 2018 between 1-3pm, with services immediately following at 3pm. Officiating will be Reverend James Blue. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park following the service.
