Donna F. Mccurdy

Cayuga, Ind. -- Donna F. McCurdy, 70, of Cayuga, passed away at 12:45 a.m. EST Thursday, February 11, 2010 at The Waters of Covington in Covington, Indiana. She was born May 28, 1939 in Eugene, Indiana the daughter of the late Samuel and Ruth Thompson McMasters. She married Donald E. McCurdy on June 13, 1959 in Montezuma, Indiana. He preceded her in death on August 2, 2006. Survivors include one daughter, Denise Renee(John)Patton of Kingman, Indiana; two grandchildren, Brayden and Regan Woodard; two step grandchildren, Alan(Lynette)Patton and Stacey(Ashley)Stein both of Covington, Indiana; one sister, Wanda(Dave)Vecellio of Westville, Illinois; three brothers, Gerald(Pam)McMasters of Catlin, Illinois; Paul(Jean)McMasters and John(Sherry)McMasters both of Cayuga, Indiana. She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers. Donna retired in 1996 from HeatCraft in Danville, Illinois. She was a 1957 graduate of Cayuga High School. Donna attended the Kingman United Methodist Church. She enjoyed working on puzzles, reading and watching her grandchildren participate in sports. Funeral services: 2 p.m. EST Sunday, February 14, 2010 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Ken Majors; Burial: Eugene Cemetery in Eugene, Indiana; Visitation: Noon EST until time of services Sunday, February 14, 2010 at the funeral home.
