Donna Clay, 64, of Homer passed away at 2:49pm on Saturday October 6, 2018. Donna was born in Danville on March 19, 1954 the daughter of Alva M. and Mabel D. Jones. Donna is survived by her husband, Daniel E. Clay Sr., daughter, Tiffany L. (Jason) Clay Jeffers, brother, Chuck Jones; Sisters, Doris Danner, Barb Pam, Maxine Collum; grandchildren, Willow Jeffers and Rhiannon Jeffers. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Daniel Eugene Clay Jr., nephews, Herbie Jones, Bradley Jones, great nephews, Aden and Skyler Heins, nieces, Phyllis Fullerton, Kristi Hendricks, great nieces, Cheri Johnson, Lauren Davis, aunt, Ethel Demoss, uncle, Gerald Demoss, brother, Richard D. Jones and brothers-in-law Jeffrey A. Clay and Ron Manuel. Donna graduated from Oakwood High School class of 1972. She was a devoted mother and truly loved helping others. Donna was the Activity Director at Danville care and Vermilion Manor before becoming the day training tech at Crosspoint Human Services where she worked until her passing. In her spare time she enjoyed Volunteering, gardening, making jewelry and spending time with family. She will be deeply missed by everyone that had the opportunity to meet her. A Celebration of life will take place from 3pm to 7pm on Wednesday October 10, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N Vermilion, Danville.
