Donald Wright

Donald Arthur Wright, age 70, of Danville, passed away at 10:58 PM on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at his home. He was born on February 21, 1936 in Danville, IL the son of Glenn and Rosemary (Harkness) Wright. Don is survived by his father: Glenn of Danville; two sons: Dan (Lynne) Wright of Indianapolis, IN; Mark (Sarah) Wright of Carmel, IN; three daughters: Vickie (Roy) Peppers of Artesia, New Mexico, Tammy (Dan) Bolser of Fithian, IL, Toni (Mark) Sepherd of Fithian, IL; three brothers: David (Elaine) Wright of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Bill Wright of Danville, Steve (Brenda) Wright of Kokomo, IN; one sister: Kathleen (Sam) Weston of Rossville, IL; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; his best friend of 26 years: Carol Shell; and two life long friends: Jim Jones and Bob Stovall. He was preceded in death by his mother; and his first grandson: Joshua Shepherd. Don graduated from Danville High School in 1954. He worked for CSX railroad as an engineer for 41 years until his retirement. Don was a railroad enthusiast. He loved anything to do with trains.
