Cayuga, Ind. -- Donald W. Gaylor, 78, of Cayuga, passed away at 11:34 a.m. EDT Wednesday(March 28, 2007) at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was born October 6, 1928, in Cayuga, Indiana, the son of the late Wayne E. and Marie Miller Gaylor. He married Glendora M. Stanley on August 29, 1947 in Anderson, Indiana. She survives. Other survivors include: two sons, Rod(Becky)Gaylor of Phoenix, Arizona and Victor(Irene)Gaylor of Peachtree City, Georgia; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and one nephew, W.T.(Donna)Laws of Cayuga, Indiana. He was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Laws and one brother, George "Poke" Gaylor. Donald retired from Eli Lilly of Clinton, Indiana as a Instrument Technician in 1989 after 19 years of service. He was a 1946 graduate of Cayuga High School. His memberships included the Cayuga Christian Church, Unity Masonic Lodge #344 F&AM and the Perrysville Chapter #302 Order of the Eastern Star. Funeral services: 11 a.m. EDT Saturday, March 31 2007 at DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Andy Spencer; Burial: Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute, Indiana; Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. EDT Friday, March 30, 2007 at the funeral home with Masonic Memorial Services at 7:30 p.m. EDT.
