Don was a graduate of Georgetown High School before beginning his career. Don was also a dedicated member of the congregation at Trinity Lutheran Church in Danville where he had previously served as the church’s Financial Secretary. Sports were a big part of Don’s life as well and he could often be found cheering on the Chicago Bears, the Fighting Illini, and especially the St. Louis Cardinals. His involvement also went beyond spectating as Don served many years as a high school football and basketball official which took him all across the state of Illinois. Most importantly Don loved his family and will be remembered as a “great guy” who will be missed dearly by them.
