Donald L.. Hartman

Cayuga, Ind. - Donald Lee Hartman, 91, of Cayuga passed away at 6:26 p.m. EST Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Williamsport, Indiana.

He was born August 27, 1928 in Cayuga, Indiana the son of the late Virgil and Dovie (Naylor) Hartman.

He married Dolores Stevenson on January 16, 1949 in Cayuga, Indiana and she survives.

Also surviving is a daughter: Diana (Ron) Mack of Cayuga; three grandchildren: Tiffany (DJ) Lunsford, Emily Hartman, Jeremy Mack and three great-grandchildren: Lainey, Darby, and Wesley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons: Donn and Darrin Hartman and his sister, Helen Boswell.

Donald graduated from Rankin High School in Rankin, Illinois and went on to serve honorably in the United States Army. After returning home from the Army, he went on to work for GM and retired after 30 years of service. Following his retirement from GM, Donald went on to farming and continued to do so as long as his health allowed him. In his spare time, Donald enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
