Donald Lee Kunkle, Sr., 63, of Perrysville, IN, passed this life at 1:05am EDT, Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at Seton Hospital in Lafayette, IN, with his wife, Linda (Conley) Kunkle, and his daughter, Lori, beside him. He was born in Clinton, IN, to Hershel Fay and Mildred (Wilfong) Kunkle on October 3, 1945. Those who will miss him include: his wife, Linda; his children, Donald L. (Michelle) Kunkle Jr of Cayuga, IN, Lori (Dale) Wiggins of Maryland, and Tammy (Kieran) Deneham of Louisiana; his step-sons, Todd Payne of Perrysville, IN, & Chad (Rhonda) Payne of Mississippi; his grandchildren, Karisa Kunkle, Ethan Kunkle, Cory Harrell, Allissa Wiggins, Brett Deneham, Kieran Deneham Jr, Liam Deneham, Devin Foreman, Dustin Cox, & Katrina Cope; his sister Carolyn (Harry) Ehlenfeld of Ridge Farm; as well as, several nieces & nephews. He will be sorely missed by his dog, Mollee. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Larry & Ronald. Donald was a Veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean Conflict as a communication chief. He later worked for Teepak for 35 years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and loved farming. He raised Black Angus. He loved his horses and loved to go horseback riding and even rode through Kentucky. He was a caring man and took eggs to people in need and became known as the Egg Man. He was a member of the Olivet Church of the Nazarene. He cherished spending time with his family and will be missed by all of them. A celebration of Donalds life will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, May 22, 2009, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E West St, Georgetown. Pastor James Blue will officiate the service. Visitation will be 4p - 8p, Thursday, May 21, 2009, at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery, Ridge Farm. Memorial donations may be given in Donalds name to his family for purchase of a headstone
