Donald Guilliams

Perrysville, Ind. - Donald Guilliams, 77, of Perrysville, passed away at 10:45 a.m. EST Sunday, November 13, 2011 at The Waters of Covington in Covington, Indiana. He was born February 28, 1934 at home in Tangier, Indiana, the son of the late Oscar and Lilly Royce Guilliams. He married Nancy Isaacs on June 10, 1954 at the Rockville Christian Church in Rockville, Indiana. She survives. Other survivors include his son, Greg(Debra)Guilliams of Middlebury, Indiana; two granddaughters, Jamie(Aaron)Summers of Elkhart, Indiana and Pamela Guilliams of Lafayette, Indiana; two brothers, Russell Guilliams of Memphis, Tennessee and Orville Guilliams of Newport, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Guilliams and sister, Nina Harrier. Donald retired in 1996 from Olin/Flexel in Covington, Indiana as a electrician. He was a Veteran of the Korean War serving with the United States Air Force. Donald was a 1952 graduate of Newport High School. He enjoyed flying and was a flight instructor for many years. He enjoyed coon hunting and attending North Vermillion High School Sports. Funeral services: 7 p.m. EST Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Dr. Andy Spencer; Visitation: 5 pm. EST until time of services Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the funeral home. Cremation following services. In Lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to the Provena Cancer Center, 812 North Logan Avenue, Danville, Illinois 61832.
