Donald G. Ramsey

Cayuga, Ind. - Donald G. Ramsey, 78, of Cayuga, passed away at 8:38 a.m. EDT Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Union Hospital Clinton in Clinton, Indiana.

Donald was born August 13, 1943 in Danville, Illinois the son of the late Herman and Dorothy Ramsey.

He married Henrietta 'Hank' Marie Brock on August 13, 1976 in Cayuga, Indiana. She survives.

Other survivors include his children: Chris (Martha) Fortner of Cayuga, Indiana; Bob (Robin) Fortner of Georgetown, Illinois; Donna Jean Ramsey and Karl Ramsey both of Danville, Illinois; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother: Dave (Carla) Ramsey of Florida, and cousin: Alice (Arlen) Miller of Danville, Illinois.

Donald retired in 2013 as a truck driver at Flex-N-Gate in Covington, Indiana. He attended the First Baptist Church in Covington. Donald enjoyed shooting, watching Jeopardy, and loved the United States of America.

There will be no services. Inurnment of cremains will be held at a later date at Hicks Cemetery in Perrysville, Indiana. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana is assisting the family with arrangements.
