Danville- Donald Edward DeAngelis, 50, of Danville passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 3:15 AM at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born on August 29, 1959 in Chicago to Frank G. and Jean C. DeAngelis. He married Carla J. Sirratt on September 19, 1985 in Las Vegas, NV. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters Donielle L. and Courtney J. DeAngelis, both of Danville; brother Frank DeAngelis of Chicago; sister Sharon DeAngelis of Chicago; brother-in-law Jeff Sirratt; his chihuahua Cissy; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, maternal and paternal grandparents, and his mother and father in-law. Don had his CDL and was a driver and cartman. He had worked for several companies, including Gallo Freight and Sharmax, both in San Diego. Don loved his family and spending time with them. Don lived to ride and always enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was a Mason at the Further Light Lodge No. 1130 in Danville and also enjoyed boating, fishing, golf, and bowling. A service to celebrate Dons life will be held at 2 PM on Friday, August 27, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. Pastor Dan Mikel will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM on Thursday, August 26 also at the funeral home.
