Don Minyen

Don E. Minyen, of Covington, and formerly of Punta Gorda, FL, passed away at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN., on Monday, May 11, 2009. Donald was born on November 17, 1938, in Maysville, OK, the son of Emmett and Audra Minyen. He married Nyrita Hill on December 19, 1994 in Florida. She survives. Also surviving are two sons: Mark (Tammy) Minyen and Randy (Patrice) Minyen both of OK, step-son: Tim Lowe of Chrisman, IL, sisters: Carol (Jerry) Hefner of CA, Glenda (Tom) Holiday and Loretta (Don) Ralston both of OK, grandchildren: Emily, Katie, Michael, Sarah, Jake, Samantha, and Columbus, step-grandchildren: Meghan, Dane, Jordan, Dustin, and Jacob Lowe. He was preceded in death by his parents and step son Wayne Lowe. A celebration of Donalds life and memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, May 15, 2009 at The Covington Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Tom Hunter officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:00 pm at the church. Sunsets Covington Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
