Dolores Hageman

Dolores Louise Hageman, 92, of Sidell, passed away on Monday February 27th,2017 at Newman rehab and Health Care Center in Newman, IL. Dolores was born the daughter of Henry and Lydia (Block) Messman on April 7th, 1924 in Douglas County. Dolores married Joseph Hageman on March 23rd, 1947 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Broadlands, IL. He preceded her in death on July 4th, 2014. Dolores is survived by one son, Jay (Tracy) Hageman of Fairmount; three daughters, Connie (Doug) Chew of Sidell, Karen (Barry) Maddox of Sidell, and Linda (Brent) Wininger of Crawfordsville, IN; ten grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Dolores was a homemaker and a farm wife. She was involved in church activities, including teaching Sunday school for many years and a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. Dolores loved to travel and spending time with family. A celebration of Dolores's life and faith will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday March 19th, 2017 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 390 County Road 2400E, Broadlands, Illinois 61816. Memorials may be made in Dolores's name to Immanuel Lutheran Church Youth Group Mission Trip or the donor's choice. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville.
