Dollie D. Willis, 69 of Brocton, IL, formerly of Oakwood, passed this life at 4:40 pm on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born on March 20, 1941, in Burkesville, KY, the daughter of Thomas Taylor and Ida Mae (Coffey) Keen. Dollie married Paul Willis on August 31, 1957. He preceded her in death in 2005. She is survived and will be missed by her two children, Don R. Willis of Fithian, IL and Connie Mae Shaffer of Brocton, IL. Her five grandchildren, Josh Shaffer (fianc(c)e Maranda), Justin Shaffer (fianc(c)e Shannon) Ellen Newlin, Bryan (Tracey) Willis, and Michael Willis. Six great-grandchildren, Samantha and Tyler Willis, Savanna and Alyssa Newlin, Aiden and Austin Shaffer, baby Levi Paul Shaffer, who is on the way, and her four sisters, Rejana Spears, Dorothy Davidson, Minnie Oberland, and Delsie Porter also survives Dollie. In addition to her husband Paul, two brothers, James, and Bobby Jim Keen, one son, Ronnie Allen Willis, and a granddaughter, Amy Marie Stanfield preceded Dollie in death. She was a homemaker and enjoyed relaxing on her porch, watching hummingbirds, playing cards and spending time with her family. A Celebration of Life Service for Dollie D Willis will begin at 2:00pm on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Sunsets Oakwood Chapel located at 105 East South Main in Oakwood with burial to follow at Stearns Cemetery.
