Dixie Lee Ingram, 81, of Georgetown, passed away at 11:09pm, Saturday, October 25, 2008, at Provena USMC, Danville. She was born on March 18th, 1927, in Georgetown the daughter of Walter and Lela (Cornwell) Mauruszaitis. She was wed to Marion Ingram on September 11, 1948. Survivors include: her son, Richard Ingram of Georgetown; her daughter, Patricia (Steve) Henderson of Georgetown; her eleven grandchildren; her ten great grandchildren; her brothers, Alfred (Belva) Morris of Georgetown, John (Mary Lou) Morris of Covington, & Billy (Marsha) Morris of Georgetown; and her sisters, Norma Moriarity of LaSalle, IL, Beverly Blackburn of Covington, IN, & Betty (JR) Gildersleve of Rockville, IN. Dixie was preceded in death by: her parents; her son, Mark; and a great granddaughter. Dixie worked for Teepak for twenty-one years. She also did tax preparations. She was a member of the Universal Ministries Church of Milford. In her spare time, she enjoyed collecting Betty Boop memorabilia, playing solitaire, and was an avid NASCAR fan. A celebration of Dixies life will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, October 30, 2008, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S State St, Westville. Reverend Doug Hickman will officiate. Visitation will be 5pm to 8pm, Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Georgetown Cemetery.
