Dixie L. Dunham

Perrysville, Ind. - Dixie L. Dunham, 84, of Perrysville, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 at 10:46 a.m. EDT at her residence.

She was born May 21, 1934 in Cayuga, Indiana the daughter of the late Roscoe and Ruby (Dickerson) Goodwin.

Dixie married Morris G. Dunham on November 15, 1952 in Paris, Illinois. He preceded her in death on March 6, 2009.

Survivors include her daughter: Deborah (Ron) Cunningham of Covington, Indiana; two sons: Steven (Donna) Dunham of Perrysville, Indiana and Rick Dunham of Florida; four grandchildren: Nicole (Paul) Thompson of Indianapolis, Indiana; Zachary (Jessica) Dunham of Lafayette, Indiana; Stacy (Kevin) Kittell of Westville, Illinois and Zachary Scott Dunham of Indiana; seven great granddaughters: Riley and Payton Iaria, and Avery and Raegan Thompson all of Indianapolis, Indiana; Madison and Hanna Kittell both of Westville, Illinois and Kezia Dunham of Lafayette, Indiana; two step great grandchildren: Tyler and Sydney Thompson both of Indianapolis, Indiana; one sister: Nancy Callahan, and one brother: Donnie Goodwin both of Covington, Indiana.

Dixie was preceded in death by her sister: Jean Riley and two brothers: Chuck and Dale Goodwin.

Dixie retired from Tee Pak in Danville, Illinois in May 1996, after 32 years of service. She attended the Covington United Methodist Church and was a 1952 graduate of Perrysville High School. Dixie enjoyed line dancing and working on crafts.

Funeral service: 10 a.m. EDT Friday, September 7, 2018 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Burial: Hopewell Cemetery in Rileysburg, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Mason Shambach; Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. EDT Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
